As many of you know, I was finally able to visit my friend Justin Buice in Detroit!  One of the projects we took on was a full paint correction on the hood of his black E90.

The first thing I noticed when inspecting the hood was all of the surface scratches.  Essentially these are light scratches and swirls introduced from improper washing/drying techniques.  They are very apparent on black paint and I think they are the biggest problem most people have because they don’t use the right process.  In addition to the swirls, there were a few deeper scratches that looked to be from a stone or something in the wash pad.  I was pleasantly surprised to see little to no rock chips.  Good work on staying away from trucks and stones!
